About Us

Sahamati is a market-driven, non-profit industry alliance ushering in Open Finance in India through the Account Aggregator (AA) framework. Account Aggregators are the third building block of the country’s Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) after Aadhaar and Unified Payments Interface (UPI). AAs are consent managers (CMs) that enable secure and seamless data-sharing with explicit consumer consent, ensuring data control and privacy.

At Sahamati, we aim to institutionalize consent-based, secure data-sharing in the financial ecosystem. We seek a highly skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Communication & Outreach specialist. In this role, you will handle content, social media management, event coordination, and general outreach responsibilities to manage our communication and engage with our ecosystem effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Develop compelling and engaging content for various communication channels, including website, blog, social media, email campaigns, and other materials.
  • Collaborate with the advocacy, legal, operations, and technology teams to ensure content aligns with our strategic goals.

Social Media Management

  • Manage and maintain our company’s presence on social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Create and schedule social media posts, monitor engagement, interact with followers, and implement social media strategies & campaigns to increase awareness and foster community engagement.

Event Coordination:

  • Plan and coordinate virtual and on-premise events, including webinars, workshops, roundtable conferences, and community events.
  • Manage event logistics, including attendee registration, venue setup, speaker coordination, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Ensure seamless execution of events within budget and timeline constraints, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attendee satisfaction.

Outreach Initiatives

  • Develop and execute outreach initiatives to engage with the industry, poliicymakers, and other influencers.
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships and collaborations to expand our network and reach.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in communication, outreach, or related roles.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in social media management and content creation.
  • Experience in event coordination and general operations.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms is a plus.
