Key Timelines for the Application Process
- Application Submission Deadline – 5th November
Startups must submit applications detailing business info, product description, development stage, and any additional materials. - Initial Eligibility Screening – 7th November
Applications are screened to ensure the startup leverages the AA framework, operates in financial services, and has at least an MVP/Prototype ready. Disqualified startups are notified at this stage. - Evaluation by Review Committee – 9th November
Submissions are evaluated by a panel of experts based on innovation, relevance to AA, product stage, market potential, and team strength. Startups scoring above a threshold move forward. - Shortlist of Startups – 10th November
The top-scoring startups are shortlisted for demo slots. If necessary, a second review may occur. - Final Selection – 12th November
Final startups are selected based on reviews and optional interviews/demos. Selected startups receive guidelines for their pitch and Q&A session.
Structure of the Event
We aim to provide a dynamic platform for startups to showcase their innovative solutions, fostering direct engagement with investors and the broader audience through a structured format as below–
- 2-Minute Pitch: Each startup will have a 2-minute slot to pitch their solution to the investors and the session attendees.
- 10-Minute Investor Q&A: Investors will engage directly with startups, offering feedback and asking key questions.
- 5-Minute Audience Q&A: The general audience will have a chance to ask questions after the investor Q&A.
- Buffer: A 3-minute buffer is allocated per startup to ensure a smooth transition between presentations.
In total, the session is structured to last 1 hour, with enough time to accommodate multiple startup pitches while maintaining a balanced pace for interaction and engagement from both investors and the audience.
