Today (July 25, 2019) there was a closed user group event of the Account Aggregator ecosystem held in Mumbai. We had shared our official press release with the media. However, we see few articles have misrepresented the details of the product and our role.
Business Line reported that Sahamati is an account aggregator.
Our clarification: Sahamati is not an account aggregator. We are not a platform. Six AAs have received in-principle approval from RBI to move ahead: NESL Asset Data Limited, CAMS Finserv Financial Services, Cookiejar Technologies Pvt Ltd. (Product titled Finvu), FinSec AA Solutions Private Limited (Product titled OneMoney), Yodlee Finsoft Pvt Limited, and Jio Information Solutions Limited.
These six companies are the only ones who will be operating as an Account Aggregator.
